Jasper
It is said that massages with a round polished jaspers have an aphrodisiac effect.. very interesting. I wonder if it still would work if the person giving you the massage had four heads and sixteen thumbs?
History
The ancient Egyptians wore jasper scarabs as amulets because they believe the stone to be able to help in increasing sexual energy.
In one of the books I have it says that jasper was used to build New Jerusalem - so I looked it up and in Revelations it speaks of the walls containing jasper. Regardless of my beliefs I don't really see an issue with the idea of an old city having gemstones used in their buildings. So for this blog I am just stating the idea of jasper being used in an old city and you can take is as you wish to. :)
